Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme 2021: Online Registration, Objectives, Eligibility & Benefits

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the ‘Jagananna Vasathi Deevena’ in Vijayanagar on 24 February 2020. Under this program, financial assistance will be provided to ITI, polytechnic and graduate students in hostels and criminal cases. The money will be deposited into the bank accounts of the mothers or guardians of eligible students. ITI students will receive Rs 10,000, polytechnic student’s 15,000 and graduate students Rs 20,000 annually in two equal categories in February and July.

  • The Aadhar Card (every candidate must possess his/her Aadhar card to avail the benefits)

Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme Eligibility Criteria

·        Government officials are not eligible for this program.

·        All students, pursuing Polytechnic, ITI, and Degree and higher education at Government / Aided / Private colleges, affiliated with State / Board.

·        Students in the following categories are eligible for Schemes - Day students, College Attached Hostels (CAH) and Host Attached Hostels (DAH) students.

·        If anyone in the family receives a pension then they are not eligible for the scheme.

·        Annual family income should be less than Rs 2.5 Lakh per annum.

·        75% of all participants were compulsory bursaries.

·        Beneficiaries must have less than 10 hectares of wetland / agricultural land less than 25 hectares / or wetlands and less than 25 hectares of agricultural land.

·        Beneficiaries should not have four wheels (Car, Taxi, Auto, etc.).

·        Students in the following fields are not eligible for Schemes - Study in Private University / Deemed Universities, Pursuing Correspondence / Distance education courses. Admitted under Management / Spot Quota.

·        If someone in the student's family pays local taxes than they are also not eligible for the scheme

·        Student housing must be less than 1500 square meters in the city to be able to access this program.

·        Sanitation worker ward, regardless of salary and type of employment is eligible for the program


Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme 2021: Online Application Form Download Andhra Pradesh. Introduced the Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme 2021. Prime Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy released the first installment of the Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme on 19 April 2020. Total amount. 671.45 crore paid directly into the accounts of women with children pursuing higher education. The second installment is scheduled for July 2021, the third in December 2021 and the fourth in February 2022.

The following categories of students will be eligible for 100% of their tuition fees reimbursed:

  • Caste Schedule
  • Tribes Scheduled
  • Classes that go backward
  • Groups of minorities
  • Kapu
  • Economics Backward Class
  • The EWS is economically weaker than other sections.
  • Students with disabilities

Numbers of beneficiaries in different courses of different cities are mentioned below:-

·        First, the highest number of ITI student beneficiaries comes from East Godavari (6,828)

·        Second, a very small number of ITI student beneficiaries are from Nellore (2,057).

·        Third, the highest number of beneficiaries of polytechnic students comes from Krishna (14,903)

·        Fourth, a very small number of beneficiaries of polytechnic students come from Nellore (3,334)

·        Fifth, the highest number of degrees and PG students come from Chittoor with 1,22,219 beneficiaries and Vizinagaram with 52,944 below.

First Installment under Jagananna Vasathi Deevena


As issued the first installment up to Rs. 671.45 crore for the benefit of 10.88 lakh students. The Jagan Anna Vidya Deevena Scheme is designed to make education accessible to the poor and needy. The only real wealth to be passed on to future generations is education, which alone can eradicate poverty and transform lives.

Second Installment under Jagananna Vasathi Deevena


Andhra Pradesh Prime Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has contributed Rs.1,048.94 pounds to the mother accounts of 10,89,302 students under the 'Jagananna Vasathi Deevena' program for the 2020-21 academic year.

Incentives under Jagananna Vasathi Deevena


The plan includes a long list of benefits. The scheme provides the following benefits:-


·        Tuition fees and hostel fees for students pursuing the following courses-

·        Stem

·        Engineering etc.

·        Students will be given Rs 20,000 / - per annum.

·        Students studying at Social Welfare hostels will be released on fraud charges.

·        Financial incentives are as follows-

·        Rs 15,000 Polytechnic students

·        Rs 10,000 for ITI students

·        Rs 20,000 for Graduate Degree and other courses.


Objectives of Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme 2021

The aim of this program is to enable mothers to send their wards to higher education without financial constraints. Combined courses are ITI, polytechnic, degree and PG / Ph.D (excluding Intermediate students placed under 'Amma Vodi') and full refunds are offered to SC / ST students regardless of tuition.

To provide students with a quality education and reduce the financial burden on parents, the government has introduced the ‘Vasathi Deevena’ program, which pays for college fees and travel and hostel fees for students.

Major Benefits

·        Students doing polytechnics will receive a total of 15,000 per annum

·        Students in ITI will receive Rs.10,000 / - per year

·        And students who do their degree or other studies will receive 20,000 / - per year
